Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of system engineers and operations staff.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including task assignment, managing backlog of efforts and prioritizing implementation, performance management, and professional development.
- Design, implement, and maintain Exchange, Active Directory, Web Services, and SharePoint environments.
- Ensure high availability, security, and performance of these critical systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting solutions for proactive issue resolution.
- Provide operational support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
- Manage desktop patching schedule and imaging processes to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VDI, desktop environments, and system integrations.
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution and deployment.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope and budget.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 20 years of experience OR HS/GED and 25 years of Experience
- DOD 8570 Certification is Required (If not held, must obtain within 6 months of start date)
